UI BEST GRADUATING STUDENT WITH CGPA 7.0 DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
During Convocation on Tuesday, Miss Ofure Mary Ebhomielen of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science as she was presented as the best graduating student at the 2019 Convocation ceremony of the University of Ibadan, UI.
Ebhomielen, who graduated with the most noteworthy Cumulative Grade Point Average, CGPA of 7.0 got a booming applause when she was displayed to guardians and well-wishers at the service.
She was allowed the chance to have an extraordinary handshake with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka, who couldn’t conceal his adoration for the star existing apart from everything else.
She noticed that achievement didn’t come simple, including that separated from making a decent evaluation in the college, regardless one expected to substantiate oneself in the outside world.
Ebhomielen approached the individuals who didn’t make upper division to go out there and demonstrate their value.
Remarking, Olayinka stated, “Ofure Mary Ebhomielen is the fourth individual ever to have gotten impeccable Cummulative Grade Point Average (7.0 out of 7.0) in the 71-year history of the University of Ibadan and the primary female. This merits celebrating and we are to be sure exceptionally glad for her. The world is currently under your feet, Mary, go for the skies while we continue commending you.”
